In 2010, APPEA will again host its highly successful integrated safety event where everyone involved in the workplace will come together to talk about how to drive real improvements in the oil and gas industry's safety and health performance.

For the first time in 2010, the event will also host an exhibition space, enhancing the experience for all delegates through increased opportunities for information sharing and networking. The program will also incorporate
concurrent streams customised for each of the following sectors within the industry: coal seam gas, subsea and drilling.

National Oil & Gas HSR Forum (10 August)

• APPEA in conjunction with the National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority (NOPSA) invites all interested Health & Safety Representatives(HSRs) and other stakeholders to save the date 10 August 2010, for the National Oil & Gas HSR Forum. NOPSA is the chair of the HSR Forum Steering Committee, and is currently calling for papers for this event.
